Portland, where the smell of fresh air is very strong and a vague sound of MAX roaring down the north-south line. Even in downtown Portland, you can still see the peak of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens.
I hope that you'll keep working on your sports writing (in poetry, prose--fiction and nonfiction) throughout the semester. It's a keen interest of yours AND (happily for me) invites really vivid language use as you make a sport--even commentary about it--happen on the page.
Your overall blog is a bit short at this time, but I suspect that you'll gain momentum now that you're over being ill.
